2025 Fall Football Season Preview: Rauner College Prep

Offseason Focus

The focus this offseason at Rauner College Prep has been to get bigger, faster, and stronger. Skill players have been training with the track team to improve speed and agility, while the linemen have followed a specialized weight training program. The coaching staff is committed to developing physical and mental toughness across all positions in preparation for the upcoming season.

Players to Watch

Rauner College Prep boasts an exciting mix of young breakout stars and hardworking veterans heading into the new season:

Ryden Carrasco, Willie Trimble, and Jamrion Curry – Rising sophomores expected to have a major impact this year.

Tim Franco & Thomas Gidney-Carson – Big, strong returners who have been relentless in their offseason training.

DeRay Robinson – An elite athlete sharpening his skills in 7-on-7 competitions.

Jamrjay Curry & Taireon Delaney – Senior leaders who will anchor both the offense and defense.

Carlo Alvarado – A multi-sport athlete and ace baseball pitcher who will take over at quarterback. Although a newcomer to football last season, he’s poised to lead the offense and "air it out."

Nutrition

Each athlete is given a custom-tailored meal plan to support their individual goals—whether it’s muscle gain, weight loss, or performance optimization. These plans include a 7-day breakdown of meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), along with healthy snacks and alternative food options. Nutrition is treated as a critical part of the performance equation.

Coaching Perspective

The coaching staff has been actively studying successful programs and collaborating with other coaches to elevate their strategies. With a better understanding of personnel and experience from last season, coaches are focused on putting players in the best positions to succeed. It’s all about maximizing talent and creating winning opportunities.
