The 2024–25 season marked a breakthrough for the Hillsboro Lady Indians, finishing with an impressive 19–5 overall record and a Sectional Championship to cap off a campaign defined by grit, growth, and next-level performances from rising underclassmen.
Tylee Davis: The Engine Behind It All
No name was more impactful this season than Tylee Davis, who filled the stat sheet on a nightly basis.
18 double-doubles
Team leader in points per game, rebounds, assists, steals, 2PT%, and 3PT%
Davis was the definition of consistency and leadership, providing both on-court production and an unwavering presence through every challenge the team faced.
Fellow contributor Kobie Miles made her mark on the defensive end, leading the team in deflections and setting the tone with her hustle and physicality.
Youth Steps Up Early
Despite losing a starter in the very first game of the season, the team didn’t miss a beat thanks to its young talent.
Freshman Dinah Ames and sophomore Annia Young stepped up and filled crucial roles, while Ella Jordan developed steadily into a varsity-level difference-maker. Their emergence gave Hillsboro a deep and dynamic roster.
The Lone Senior Leader
The team will graduate just one player—Peighton Bledsoe, the seasoned point guard and vocal floor leader. Bledsoe’s poise and command at the point brought structure and confidence to a team otherwise filled with youth.
The Road Ahead
With nearly the entire roster returning—including key underclassmen contributors—Coach Storer is excited for what’s next. “We return all but one senior, and our younger players made big impacts this year,” she noted. “We've also increased the difficulty of our schedule to continue challenging ourselves.”
Offseason Goals
This offseason, Hillsboro will focus on speed, aggression, and all-around intensity, aiming to become even more disruptive on defense and efficient on offense.
