Offseason Focus

This offseason, our primary goal is to build familiarity and trust among athletes and the newly structured coaching staff. With a solid group of returning cheerleaders, we’re aiming to strengthen the team camaraderie developed in past seasons while welcoming new ideas and leadership.

Notable Additions & Departures

We extend our gratitude to Coach Jerrod Johnson for his contributions as he transitions out of the program. In his place, we’re excited about the addition of new leadership that brings fresh energy and vision to our team.

Players to Watch

This season, several returners are poised to make an impact:

Rising Seniors Chyenne Smith and Tiara Moore-Albright will be key leaders with three years of varsity experience each.

Rising Juniors A’Riyah Weaver, Kylasia Clark, Kayla Lee, Nia Harris-Wilds, and Destyni James are all expected to return and build upon their strong performances from last season. Each has shown dedication throughout the offseason, positioning themselves for standout seasons.

Weight Lifting, Fitness, and Nutrition

We’re gearing up for summer workouts and emphasizing the importance of hydration and proper nutrition. Reinforcing healthy habits is a cornerstone of our fitness approach and is vital to our overall success.

Coaching Perspective

Our new coaching staff is hard at work developing fresh material while also preserving the spirit of what’s worked in the past. Structurally, the team is undergoing a complete transformation, introducing new bylaws, expectations, and standards. Our mission is clear: we want every member to embody the strength, pride, and excellence of QUEENS in the HIVE!

Biggest Challenges Ahead

With the changes in coaching staff and team structure, our biggest challenge will be adapting quickly and solidifying our identity under new leadership. However, the strong foundation of returning members gives us confidence in a successful transition.
