Offseason Focus

This offseason, the focus has been on rebuilding the midfield, following the departure of a key piece from last season. Our goal is to identify new leaders in that area and adapt our style of play to strengthen team cohesion and control.

Special Offseason Events

For the first time, several of our players are participating in competitive club soccer during the spring. This move from recreational to competitive play will provide invaluable experience and development opportunities for the boys ahead of next season.

Notable Additions & Departures

We’re saying goodbye to three impactful seniors – Jared Cuevas, Eddy, and Braeden – who were key contributors on and off the field. However, we’re excited to welcome freshman talents Giovanni Martinez and David Morales, who bring new energy and potential to the squad.

Players to Watch

Several players are stepping up with strong offseason efforts:

Nathan, Edgar, Trevor, and Jaden will be attending a high school soccer camp this summer to sharpen their skills.

Irving Hernandez – Gaining valuable match time through club soccer.

Ian and Omar – Running track this spring, which is expected to significantly improve their speed and fitness.

The progress these athletes are making gives us a lot to be excited about heading into the season.

Weight Lifting and Fitness

There haven’t been any unique team-wide offseason training programs, but many players are staying active through track, soccer camps, and club play to maintain their fitness.

Nutrition

There is currently no formal nutrition program, but the coaching staff continues to encourage healthy habits and performance-focused routines as part of the team culture.

Coaching Perspective

Our coaching staff is maintaining open and ongoing communication to strategize around key roster changes, particularly the graduation of our three seniors. A big focus is on helping younger and bench players earn more minutes and grow into larger roles.

Fan Engagement & Community Impact

We’re excited to announce an upcoming community event where our athletes will participate in:

Yard work service projects

A team car wash

Youth soccer camps

These initiatives will strengthen our community ties and help raise support for the program.

Biggest Challenges Ahead

Our biggest challenge will be adjusting to the loss of senior leadership, particularly in the midfield, and elevating younger players to take on new responsibilities. Maintaining chemistry and building confidence early in the season will be key to our success.
