Palmerton, PA – With an eye on the future and a commitment to team chemistry, Palmerton High School Boys Soccer is using the offseason to lay a strong foundation for the upcoming fall season. Under the leadership of Head Coach Antonio Orlando, the team is blending returning talent with a promising influx of young players as they prepare for the next chapter.

Offseason Focus: Chemistry, Consistency, and Conditioning

The Blue Bombers are prioritizing chemistry-building training sessions that include returning players, incoming freshmen, and even middle schoolers. “We’ve been focusing on getting everyone together—getting touches on the ball and staying in shape,” said Coach Orlando. “It’s all about unity and preparation right now.”

Roster Changes: Big Departures, Bright Future

Palmerton will have some big shoes to fill in 2025, especially with the graduation of key seniors such as Trevor Anthony and standout goalkeeper Dillon Lombardi. However, Coach Orlando is optimistic thanks to a large incoming freshman class, which could add depth and energy to the squad.

Players to Watch: Returners Ready to Shine

Several returning players are stepping up as potential breakout stars. Keep an eye on Colton Ruzicka, Wyatt Spalding, and Dillon Anthony—all of whom are expected to take on expanded roles this season. Their continued growth through offseason training could be the spark Palmerton needs to compete at a high level.

Looking Ahead: Challenges and Opportunities

With a youthful roster and the loss of seasoned leadership, the team faces challenges in experience and chemistry, but they’re meeting them head-on. “It’s going to be about how quickly we come together,” said Orlando. “But the energy is there, and we’re excited.”
