Offseason Focus

This offseason, our program has placed a strong emphasis on sharpening two key aspects of our game: defense and base running. We’ve been working to improve our players’ field awareness, reaction time, and ability to make smart plays under pressure. On the base paths, we’re pushing for more aggressive and intelligent running to gain a competitive edge in close matchups.

Roster Changes & New Faces

As we prepare for the upcoming season, we bid farewell to two of our most impactful athletes:

Olivia Godfrey – A four-year starter who set the tone on and off the field.

Bridget Davis – Another four-year veteran whose presence will be missed.

We’re excited to welcome incoming freshman Nicole Gooden to the team—a talented young player with a bright future who we expect to contribute early.

Players to Watch

Several returning players have been putting in serious work this offseason and are primed for standout performances:

Addie Spak – Poised for a breakout year, showing leadership and consistency.

Mandy Endres – A versatile athlete continuing to elevate her game.

Chelsea Lewis – Making big strides in both skill and confidence.

Allie Nevle – Emerging as a key contributor with strong offseason growth.

This group brings both experience and energy to the roster and will play crucial roles this season.

Strength & Conditioning

While we haven’t implemented any new or unconventional training routines, our team remains committed to improving strength and fitness through structured workouts and skill development sessions.

Nutrition

Currently, we do not have a formal team nutrition program in place. However, our coaching staff continues to emphasize the importance of proper nutrition and hydration as part of our overall player development.

Coaching Strategy

Our coaching staff is focused on developing team chemistry and adjusting our approach to fit a younger, evolving roster. We’re preparing to lean on our defensive strengths while nurturing growth in key areas like pitching and situational play.

Community & Fan Engagement

No specific offseason community outreach initiatives were mentioned. We look forward to reconnecting with our fans and school community as the season approaches.

Challenges Ahead

Our biggest test heading into the season will be the development of our young pitching staff. Their ability to adjust to the varsity level quickly will be a major factor in our overall success. It’s a challenge we embrace and one we’re excited to tackle as a team.
